Information Resources - Technical Services and Collections Analyst

A leading law firm has a newly created permanent job opportunity for a Technical Services and Collections Analyst to ensure the availability of Information Resources and Research databases and tools through accurate cataloguing, collection development, current awareness, database management and quality assurance.

Key job responsibilities will include:

- maintain and analyse collections to identify areas of risk

- analyse print resources and publishing landscape and propose options to reduce print resources

- lead all aspects of technical services during office moves

- catalogue new materials

- contribute to testing and implementation of new online resources

- develop and maintain current awareness distributions

Key job requirements and person specification:

- Knowledge of law library databases and systems

- Project management skills

- Strong technical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A Masters or qualification in Library and Information Science is desirable
