We champion co-op and community-led housing where people design, develop, build or manage their homes themselves. We aim to make this a mainstream option for both rent and home ownership. To that end, we are investing in people and partnerships that can help us make this market fly.

We currently support about 40 co-operatives that house more than 2,200 households by providing or overseeing a variety of housing management services and back-office administration functions under instruction from our clients. We are also a social landlord, providing housing management to our own residents living in nearly 1,000 properties.

Are you an inspirational leader in the field of income management and would like to make a difference? Are you looking for a part-time role (3 days a week) that is flexible and fits easily around your existing commitments? CDS is looking for a passionate and customer focused Income Collection Manager to lead our small and friendly income team in the recovery of housing related debts. This is a rewarding role as you will be assisting customers to maintain rent and service charge payments in these challenging times.

You will lead a team of three Income Collection Officers and one Welfare Benefit Advisor to provide an effective service to our customers and clients, manage performance and make the service your own. You will have freedom to act to get the best results with our residents and will work closely with our client team to improve the income management service provided to our client coops.

We're looking for someone with good income management experience who is looking to really make their mark and get noticed for all the right reasons. We'd rather you tell us what you can do than rigidly set out how you meet the individual criteria in the person specification.
