As a Barclays Data Collections Analyst (Legal) you will work within the dedicated Technical Operations team and will be accountable for executing day-to-day requests from receipt through to delivery, ensuring expectations are met and requirements are delivered in a timely fashion. You will assist with the development and implementation of technical solutions for preservation and collection of data, including one time solutions for rare or infrequent request requirements.

What will you be doing?
• Collecting and culling electronically stored information (ESI) in response to legal, regulatory, and internal investigation requests
• Understand the standard operations procedures for different ESI in order to collect, collate, and deliver the data evidence in an appropriate format to various stakeholders
• Provide support to stakeholders to ensure that preservation and collection is completed within SLAs and in a manner that is consistent with best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation for the collections of ESI for a request
• Perform quality control process of the collections of ESI by other team members for matters you are managin

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree graduates or equivalent
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Detail orientated individual with proven ability to execute process consistently
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, customers, colleagues and subordinates

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in the eDiscovery field
• Experience and working knowledge of collections of ESI and knowledge of enterprise and industry standard technology (e.g. Email, Bloomberg, Archiving infrastructure)
• Experience working with eDiscovery vendors and in data collections and processing
• Knowledge of the EDRM Model and eDiscovery best practices and a knowledge of Symantec Discovery Accelerator and NUIX

Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes
