Collections Adviser - Basildon, Immediate Start

I am keen to speak with candidates local to the Basildon area who have experience within Collections or are strong Customer Service advisers.

Duties will include:

Speaking to customers who are behind on their payments to put in place a plan to bring them up to date
Managing overdue accounts in a compliant and customer focused manner
Using the in-house database to keep up to date records of each customer contact
Responding to customer enquiries over the phone and emailThe successful candidate:

Great telephone manner - professional and personable
Calm under pressure - speaking with customers who may be distressed and resolving these calls in a customer centric manner My client have a great culture, they encourage staff to be proactive coupled with a light management touch - You are given the autonomy to manage your day working in a fun team environment.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Initially salary will be £9 per hour. 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday and alternate Saturday mornings
Salary increase once permanent
Office based role
Free parking on-site
