As a Collections Agent at Hoist Finance
No two days are the same in this role, you will be working as part of our fast paced collections department effectively handling and negotiating repayment plans for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that you are appropriately negotiating affordable outcomes for everyone that you speak to. You will be working towards KPI's in order to maximise collections, whilst demonstrating empathy, understanding and professionalism on each call. All of your customers are different, so it is important that you are able to establish their personal circumstances, work towards the best strategy for their financial circumstances, and get them back on track.
Key Skills and Requirements
* It is essential that you have excellent communication and organisational skills, not just to speak to your customers but also to work with our IT systems and be able to manage your daily workload.
* A good listener/communicator will thrive in this type of role.
* You will need to have strong emotional intelligence and resilience due to the nature of calls you will be handling each day.
* You will be dealing with customers in financial difficulty who are distressed so it is important you are confident dealing with calls of this nature.
* You will also have a passion for helping people, whilst some contact centre experience is beneficial it is important that you are able to show understanding and provide each of your customers with a positive outcome.
* We are looking for self-motivated individuals, who want to develop a career within a growing business.
* Must be available to work rotational shift patterns between 8am - 8pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am - 2pm.
