Customer Collections Co-ordinator

Description:

Our client is looking for a Customer- Collections Co-ordinator to join their dynamic collections and recoveries team, also working alongside a wider customer service and operations department. As the Customer Collections Coordinator you will be part of a busy operations support team who deal with all aspects of administration and customer liaison for existing customer accounts and their payment plans.

As the Customer Collections Coordinator you will:

  • Manage customer accounts through early identification of financial distress by pro-active customer contact.
  • Successfully influence outcomes for both customers and clients, limiting the escalation of arrears to litigation.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence at all times and all other regulatory requirements.
  • Contact all customers where potential hardship is identified.
  • Implement forbearance measures at the earliest opportunity.
  • Build and maintain the customer relationship for all customers whilst developing a financial profile.
  • Work closely with the loan admin team issuing trace and field visit requests.
  • Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure optimum service for the customer and to minimize risk for the company.

The ideal Customer Collections Coordinator will:

  • Ideally have previous experience of working within the mortgage or un-secured arrears sector
  • Strong administration and Customer Service experience
  • High levels of attention to detail and experience processing information in a process driven and compliance lead environment
  • Knowledge of mortgages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment and stay calm under pressure
  • Be a pro-active team player and deadline driven
  • Be pragmatic with good problem solving skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft office including Word and Excel
  • Experience of case management systems and FCA requirements
  • Experience of servicing secured lending products or collections and recoveries is essential.
