Collections Customer Service Advisor

My client is seeking a Collections Customer Service Advisor to join their growing team, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls working inline with company SLA's.

The purpose of this role is to maximise the collection of overdue debt and provide an informative and supportive point of contact for callers.

Duties will include:

Answer and process inbound calls in accordance with agreed company SLA's
Working with all callers professionally and within legislation and codes of practice
Collect payments on behalf of the company's clients and negotiate and set up payment arrangements
Identify possible cases of vulnerability and take the correct action
Undertake any specialised tasks, to promote improved cash flow
Complete outbound and credit control calls
Update the in-house database with accurate caller notes and carry out all associated actions
Managing account queries and verbal complaints, ensuring the obtain full details and passing across the relevant team or Manager
Able to follow established collections processes and procedures
Assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties as directed by a Team Leader or Manager16k-18k salary
Monday-Saturday - 37.5 hours per week with shifts between 8am-8pm
23 days plus bank holiday
