The role of Collections & Recoveries Manager is really important to us. You will lead our Collections & Recoveries Teams within our Asset Finance department. Operating as a Senior Manager within the Customer Operations function and working in partnership with the other Senior Managers across the business. We are looking for a positive person who will go the extra mile and who is proactive and flexible in their approach. We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for people to grow with us and who would like to help us shape our culture and the way things are done.

When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Reading office. In the meantime you will be based remotely. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

Building effective relationships with stakeholders and influence at risk committees, problem loan review, provisions and with commercial directors

Responsible for the strategic direction of the department including resourcing and technology strategies, people and team development, performance management, and succession planning

Experience of undertaking analysis of Management Information and the ability to analyse information, and implement improvement strategies as a part of that analysis

Development of the department's strategies including business plans, objectives, SLA's, associated KPI's, policies, processes and procedures checks

Managing and reviewing supplier relationships (Solicitors/Insolvency Practitioners/Field Agents etc.) including reviewing legal and litigation processes
What do we expect of you?

Experienced Manager of a Collections team preferably within Asset Finance

Proven track record of creating and maintaining high performing, productivity focused teams, in a Support Services environment, whilst maintaining the highest levels of compliance and quality

Evidence of adhering to Collections & Recovery processes and service level agreements in both regulated and non regulated deals

The ability to deal with customers/ colleagues in difficult situations

Experience of delievring good customer outcomes
