Collections and Recoveries

Kind Consultancy is working with a large, successful Financial Services organisation which is currently seeking a Collections Advisor to join their offices in the South of Wales.
The Collections Advisor will work with customers who have fallen into arrears, with key responsibilities including:
* Recovering balances through inbound and outbound customer interactions
* When no immediate remedy can be achieved, agreeing reduced payment agreements using questioning skills and sound judgements
* Understanding and assisting vulnerable customers
* Consistently demonstrating conversations with customers are in line internal guidelines, FCA regulations and TCF principles
Our ideal candidate for the Collections Advisor opportunity:
* Has recent experience in a Contact Centre role, managing both inbound and outbound calls.
* Recent experience in a Collections or Debt Recovery function
* Has very strong communication skills, able to influence and negotiate, and can confidently handle challenging conversations
* Is educated to A Level standard or equivalent
* Has excellent phone manner, able to balance professionalism with empathic listening
