Chubb now has an opportunity for a Collections Advisor to join our large Customer Collections department at our Finance Centre of Excellence in Blackburn (BB1 2PR). The main goal of the Collections Advisor role is to contact customers to collect outstanding account balances, work with customers to understand their situation and resolve outstanding payment issues.

What will I be doing as a Customer Collections Advisor?

Work to targets for monthly cash collection and quarterly aged debt
Negotiate payment plans, follow up failed promises to pay and resolve disputes
Update customer account information
Reconciliation of customer accounts
Prepare overdue debts for legal action
To be successful in this role you will:

Have strong customer service skills and prior experience working in an office environment
Previous collections experience will be highly regarded
Have experience of working in a target driven environment
Be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships
Have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
