About the Team

Our Collections teams provide support to our Global Business customers, managing accounts with a strong focus on cash collection, and aged debt clearance.

You'll be part of a high performing, fast-paced team who always strive to exceed cash and quality targets whilst operating in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations. This role is fast-paced working across multiple platforms with the aim to provide a first-time resolution service to all our customers.

What you will be doing

As Team Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the Collections function with the divert process for Small Medium Businesses, providing divert and debt allocation breakdowns to both customers and internal stakeholders daily. You will triage and manage an Inbox dealing with queries from customers.

  • Lead from a Collections perspective on the Small Medium Busniess (SMB) divert process - reporting into Head of SMB
  • Working closely with the SMB team and managers to ensure all major parties are notified of potential diverts leading to minimal customer complaints or disputes.
  • Actioning critical business processes such as, withholding customer funds to offset debt
  • Flagging defects and raising incidents with the platforms that arise through new code releases.
  • Organising worksheets ensuring held customers funds are released in a timely efficient manner.
  • Attention to detail required to ensure payments released to customers daily are accurate
  • Offsetting debt accurately and maintaining SLA
  • Communicating with the automation team daily to allow them to run scripts for actions to be applied.
  • Improving and automating processes where possible
  • Working closely with TCS and looking after the queries day to day

What you'll bring

  • Understanding of the Collections process
  • Any previous exposure to working in a targeted driven environment
  • Communication is a key part of this role, building effective internal and external business relationships.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in a regulated company following the FCA, DPA, TCF & Banking Code Regulations.
  • Understanding around the BACS rules

This is a full time permanant role - Currently a homebased role but will be based in Manchester Spinningfields as a apart-office / part-home based
