Description:

We are looking for a Collections Administrator to join this very progressive small company where full training and opportunities will be given. The role will be supporting the finance team within a credit control/collections function initially. The role is a full time permanent role with a mix of working from home and office based. You will be joining a casual culture who offer many benefits, such as flexible start/finish, casual dress, training, and progression. Main responsibilities

Manage customers through the entire accounts receivable process, downloading bank transactions and allocating cash
Proactively chasing outstanding debt and ensure payment plans are adhered to forming good relationships
Manage customer's different accounts across utilities, rent and service charge ensuring clarity of tenant statements
Managing payments inbox for all queries
Ensure debt is paid within the agreed terms
Proactively look at debt problems and forward think when chasing customers for payment
Production of customer statements, reminders and final notices
Successful allocation of all cash received
Building good relationships with customers, including agreeing repayment plans for arrears Skills/Attributes required for the Collections Administrator

Previous experience within a finance department, but if not administration experience
Keen to learn with strong communication skills & confident telephone manner
Proactive approach, confident chasing debt over the telephone
IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
A flexible, enthusiastic approach to teamwork and the ability to deal with a fast-paced environment

The salary is between £23,000 and £27,000 depending on experience and attributes
