About Collection Jobs

A jobsite for Collection Professionals - Well it's about time!

Britain's workforce proudly boasts an army of professionals working in collections. Yet there was no leading website for this very specialist skills set when we researched the market during the online recruitment boom back in 2007. We saw a gap in the markert that's why we launched and have not looked back since.

What do Collections people do?

Collection roles vary in seniority and job focus, the ultimate aim underpinning all these roles is to improve the cash balance of the enterprises or organisations worked for. You can be a part time telephone collections advisor reading from a script, right up to the head of a team tasked with assessing credit risk on a portfolio of company accounts.

Typical tasks in such roles include Locating and notify customers of unpaid balances by mail, telephone, or personal visits to obtain payment. Duties include receiving payment and posting amount to customer's account; preparing statements to credit departments if customers fail to respond; initiating repossession proceedings or service disconnection; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
